QuLPA-Ni24 Powder Laser Cladding Powder Inconel 625 / 2.4856 – up to 1100 °C, Tough down to −196 °C

QuLPA-Ni24 is the nickel-base cladding powder for matching build-ups on Inconel 625 / 2.4856 and similar nickel-base materials (NiCr22Mo9Nb).Its microstructure is austenitic and non-transformable — hence the unusual span: high strength and toughness up to 1100 °C and at the same time toughness down to −196 °C. Molybdenum and niobium in the NiCr matrix give, per the datasheet, exceptional fatigue strength, plus favourable long-term creep values and resistance to stress and hot cracking. Hence its use in aerospace and the chemical industry. At 17 HRC the deposit is soft — it delivers corrosion and temperature resistance, not hardness.Recommended base materials2.4856 — Inconel 625 / Alloy 6252.4858 — Alloy 8251.4539 (904L), 1.4529, 1.4876 (Alloy 800)ISO 20172: NiCr22Mo9Nb with group 1.1 / 1.2Typical applicationsAerospaceChemical industryComponents up to 1100 °C and cryogenic use down to −196 °CCorrosion protection cladding by laser metal deposition (LMD)Properties and advantagesStrong and tough up to 1100 °C, tough down to −196 °CResistant to stress and hot crackingExceptional fatigue strength thanks to Mo and Nb17 HRC (15–19 HRC). QuLPA-NiGuss Powder Laser Cladding Powder Nickel Base – Cast Iron & Bronze, 32 HRC

QuLPA-NiGuss is the nickel-base cladding powder for castings — designed for the two material groups that are hardest to repair with matching filler metals: cast iron and bronze alloys.Nickel is the key here: the weld metal stays tough and crack-resistant instead of hardening the way a matching cast-iron filler would. At 32 HRC the deposit sits deliberately in the middle range — hard enough for functional surfaces, soft enough to be machined afterwards. QuLPA-AlSi10Mg Powder Laser Cladding Powder Aluminium AlSi10Mg / 3.2823 – Spherical, T6-Treatable

QuLPA-AlSi10Mg is the aluminium cladding powder: AlSi10Mg · material no. ~3.2823.Silicon (9–11 %) makes the powder readily weldable, magnesium (0.2–0.45 %) makes it age-hardenable — per the datasheet a heat treatment following the T6 cycle is applicable. That is the point: the deposit can be brought up to strength afterwards (Rm 400 MPa · Rp0.2 230 MPa · A 7 %). The grain is spherical (−45 +15 µm) and therefore free-flowing — the precondition for even powder feeding.Recommended base materialsBuild-ups and welds on aluminium alloys with approx. 10 % SiAlSi10Mg die castingsTypical applicationsRepair of AlSi10Mg castingsParts subsequently T6 heat treatedLaser metal deposition (LMD) on aluminiumProperties and advantagesT6 heat treatment applicable — strength can be set afterwardsRp0.2 230 MPa · Rm 400 MPa · A 7 %Spherical grain shape — even powder feedingGrain size −45 +15 µmPowder form: grain size -45 +15 µm — for laser metal deposition (LMD).
