QuLPA-Ni76 Powder – Laser Cladding Powder Hastelloy C276 / 2.4819 (ERNiCrMo-4) – Acids, Buffer Layers
QuLPA-Ni76 Powder – Laser Cladding Powder Hastelloy C276 / 2.4819 (ERNiCrMo-4) – Acids, Buffer Layers
QuLPA-Ni76 is the corrosion protection powder of the range: DIN EN ISO 18274 S Ni 6276 · AWS ~ERNiCrMo-4 · Hastelloy C276 · filler no. ~2.4886, base material 2.4819.
Its strength is the breadth of its resistance: highly resistant to a wide range of corrosion in oxidising and reducing media alike — a combination most materials cannot manage — and well resistant to acids. Mo 16 % and Cr 15.5 % carry this. Per the datasheet it is also well suited for buffer layers and can be deposited on unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy steel and cast steel. Hardness 230 HV.
Recommended base materials
- 2.4819 — NiMo16Cr15W / Hastelloy C276
- Ni-Mo-Cr-W alloys
- Build-ups on unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy steel / cast steel
- Buffer layers
Typical applications
- Chemical plant construction — acids
- Components in oxidising and reducing media
- Buffer layers beneath harder build-ups
- Corrosion protection cladding by laser metal deposition (LMD)
