QuCu83 TIG Welding Wire – Nickel-Aluminium Bronze CuAl9Ni5 / 2.0923
QuCu83 TIG Welding Wire – Nickel-Aluminium Bronze CuAl9Ni5 / 2.0923
QuCu83 is the nickel-aluminium bronze: EN ISO 24373 S Cu 6328 (CuAl9Ni5) · AWS A5.7 ERCuNiAl · material no. 2.0923. The weld metal reaches 200 HB at Rm 600 MPa.
It is the matching wire for Ni-Al bronzes — the cast and forged alloys CuAl10Ni5Fe4 and CuAl11Ni6Fe5 from which valves, pumps and bearings for marine service are made. That is exactly where its value lies: sea-water resistant with high abrasion and wear resistance. It sits between the other two bronzes: stronger than the ductile QuCu81, tougher than the hard QuCu80.
