QuLPA-Ni24 Powder – Laser Cladding Powder Inconel 625 / 2.4856 – up to 1100 °C, Tough down to −196 °C

QuLPA-Ni24 is the nickel-base cladding powder for matching build-ups on Inconel 625 / 2.4856 and similar nickel-base materials (NiCr22Mo9Nb).

Its microstructure is austenitic and non-transformable — hence the unusual span: high strength and toughness up to 1100 °C and at the same time toughness down to −196 °C. Molybdenum and niobium in the NiCr matrix give, per the datasheet, exceptional fatigue strength, plus favourable long-term creep values and resistance to stress and hot cracking. Hence its use in aerospace and the chemical industry. At 17 HRC the deposit is soft — it delivers corrosion and temperature resistance, not hardness.

Recommended base materials

  • 2.4856 — Inconel 625 / Alloy 625
  • 2.4858 — Alloy 825
  • 1.4539 (904L), 1.4529, 1.4876 (Alloy 800)
