QuTitan5 is a high-strength titanium laser welding wire of the alloy Ti-6Al-4V (material 3.7165, Grade 5). This alpha-beta alloy combines low weight with high strength (Rm ≈ 900–1,000 MPa) and excellent corrosion resistance — ideal for aerospace, medical technology and highly stressed lightweight components.
Recommended base materials
- 3.7165 — Ti-6Al-4V / Grade 5 (primary material)
- Ti-6Al-4V ELI / Grade 23 — implant grade (identical alloy, lower interstitials)
- 3.7035 — commercially pure titanium Grade 2 (related, for dissimilar joints)
