QuNi71 Rod – Laser Welding Wire Inconel 718 / 2.4668 (Alloy 718 / UNS N07718)
QuNi71 is a high-temperature laser welding wire of the nickel-base superalloy Inconel 718 (material 2.4668 / Alloy 718, UNS N07718). This precipitation-hardening γ''/γ' alloy retains its strength up to around 700 °C and combines it with high oxidation and corrosion resistance — ideal for gas turbines, jet engines and hot components in aerospace.

Properties and advantages
- High-temperature strength and creep resistance up to ~700 °C
- Precipitation-hardening (γ''-Ni₃Nb) — strength through solution annealing + ageing
- Good oxidation and corrosion resistance, also in sour media
- Good weldability with low hot-cracking tendency; shielding gas argon 4.6 or better
Rod form advantage: Ideal for manual build-up welding with constant wire feed — also for repair sites that are hard to access on turbine and high-temperature components.
Rod form: Rod lengths 1000 mm and 333 mm, Ø 0,2 mm – 0,8 mm.
