Qu4462 Rod – Duplex Laser Welding Wire 1.4462 / 2205 (X2CrNiMoN22-5-3)
Qu4462 is a duplex laser welding wire to EN ISO 14343-A G/W 22 9 3 N L (material no. 1.4462, X2CrNiMoN22-5-3, known as duplex 2205). Its ferritic-austenitic two-phase microstructure combines the high strength of the ferrite with the toughness and corrosion resistance of the austenite — outperforming classic CrNi steels wherever chlorides are involved.

Rod form advantage: Ideal for manual build-up welding with constant wire feed — also for repair sites that are hard to access in piping and heat exchangers.
Rod form: Rod lengths 1000 mm and 333 mm, Ø 0,2 mm – 0,8 mm.
