Qu4462 is a duplex laser welding wire to EN ISO 14343-A G/W 22 9 3 N L (material no. 1.4462, X2CrNiMoN22-5-3, known as duplex 2205). Its ferritic-austenitic two-phase microstructure combines the high strength of the ferrite with the toughness and corrosion resistance of the austenite — outperforming classic CrNi steels wherever chlorides are involved.
