QuEISI is a patented special alloy without a material number — and at 62–66 HRC the hardest deposit in the entire quada range.
What is remarkable is not the hardness alone but that it comes together with crack resistance: the datasheet explicitly cites crack-safe build-up welding on many ferrous materials. At this hardness that is not a given — most materials in this class crack. Per the datasheet there is good experience on 1.3343–1.3348, on PM steels and on GJS cast iron. The deposit is chrome-platable.
