QuNi77 is the nickel-copper alloy: EN ISO 18274 S Ni 4060 (NiCu30Mn3Ti) · AWS ERNiCu-7 · DIN 1736 SG-NiCu 30 MnTi · filler no. 2.4377. Cu 30 % · Ni base.
It is the wire for Monel 400 (2.4360) and NiCu30Al (2.4375) — both for joining and for matching cladding. Its second strength is steel-to-copper joints: steel with copper and copper-nickel alloys. The titanium (2 %) binds nitrogen and keeps the weld free of porosity. Usable up to 425 °C.
