QuFe35 Bobbin – Laser Welding Wire Hardfacing 17Mo – 39–45 HRC, Wear Protection

QuFe35 Bobbin – Laser Welding Wire Hardfacing 17Mo – 39–45 HRC, Wear Protection

QuFe35 is a hardfacing wire for industrial wear protection: 17Mo · ~ER430 · 1.4115. It reaches 39–45 HRC straight from the welding process — without post-weld tempering.

The molybdenum maintains wear resistance at elevated temperature. Important in practice: the wire is expressly designed for single-layer deposition. With multiple layers the upper passes temper the lower ones and the hardness drops.

QuMed4115 Bobbin Laser Welding Wire Hardfacing 17Mo / 1.4115 – 39–45 HRC

QuMed4115 is a martensitic 17 % Cr wire with molybdenum: EN ISO 14343-A G/W 17Mo · AWS A5.9 ~ER430 · material no. 1.4115. It is a hardfacing wire: the weld metal reaches 39–45 HRC straight from the welding process, without heat treatment. It is explicitly designed for single-layer welds. The molybdenum content of 1.2 % keeps the wear resistance intact at elevated temperatures — that is the difference from a plain Cr hardfacing wire. Added to this is resistance to water, sea water, steam and dilute organic acids.Recommended base materials1.2085, 1.4057Similar martensitic base materialsHardfacing on unalloyed and low-alloy steels and cast steelHardfacing on hot-work steels and high-alloy gradesTypical applicationsWear-resistant hardfacing — designed for single-layer weldsComponents subject to wear at elevated temperatureComponents in contact with water, sea water or steamBuild-ups on hot-work steelsProperties and advantages39–45 HRC straight from the welding process — no heat treatment requiredWear-resistant also at elevated temperatures (Mo 1.2 %), high hot strengthResistant to water, sea water, steam, dilute organic acidsWeld metal: Re 490 MPa · Rm 690 MPa · A 15 %Bobbin form: K125, K250, K80, MA125, SH253 — wire weight 100 g–500 g, Ø 0,2 mm – 0,6 mm.
