ALV – Compact Welding Laser with a Laser-Safe Working Chamber
The compact and ergonomic ALV welding laser works inside a laser-safe chamber. This version uses an Nd:YAG source rated at 120 or 180 W and is available with app or NC control. If you need a fiber laser source, you will find it in the ALV F.
The ALV is used for precision and deposit welding in tool and mold making, in sensor production and in medical and precision engineering.
The machine offers a large vertical travel and doors that open wide, so larger workpieces fit as well. For sensor applications, upward-opening wing doors with a side slot can be ordered for easy positioning of long tubes. A fine welding function reduces the spot diameter to 0.1 mm.
The ALV has three linear axes of movement, the vertical Z axis lifting up to 50 kg. Various rotary axes for cylindrical parts are optionally available. The version with WIN Laser NC control moves interpolated in XYZ and processes magazines holding several components. Operation runs via a touchscreen. In a few steps the enclosed system becomes an open laser workstation, for which appropriate protective measures then apply. The ALV meets performance level d.
