We constantly endeavour to make our processes and products as sustainable as
possible.
For you and our environment.
Our packaging cans for the K80 bobbins tend to break more and more during transport,
no matter how securely and well they are packed. This means they have to be
replaced more frequently, which is contrary to the concept of sustainability. They
are also not recyclable and take up a lot of space both during transport and
storage.
We will therefore be switching to a more sustainable solution from December 1th 2023. In future, our K80 bobbins will be shrink-wrapped in recyclable vacuum bags.

The vacuum bags offer more options when packing boxes. Fewer boxes, less CO2.
They also protect the wire from moisture and contamination during storage and transport. This means that replacement deliveries due to rusty wire can be avoided.

We hope that with this decision we can make a small contribution to reducing our
CO2 footprint and protecting our environment a little better.
