QuSG2 is the standard wire for unalloyed and low-alloy steels: EN ISO 14341-A G 42 4 C/M 3Si1 · AWS ER70S-6 · DIN 8559 SG2 · filler no. 1.5125.
SG2 is the most widely used welding wire there is — here in laser quality. It covers the whole field of structural steels: S235JR to S355J2, the boiler steels P235GH / P265GH / P295GH and fine-grain steels up to S420N. Per the datasheet the weld metal is crack-safe even in multi-layer welding — which is why it also suits larger build-up volumes, not just the thin bead. Hardness 200–250 HB.
