QuCoCr is a dental laser welding wire made from a cobalt-chromium alloy to DIN EN ISO 22674 and DIN EN ISO 6871-1 (base-metal dental casting alloys, cobalt base).
It is used in the dental laboratory as filler material for laser welding dental prostheses made of cobalt-chromium base alloy — matching the framework. Per the datasheet it is classified as an invasive medical device, class IIa (Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, Annex IX, Rule 5).
The delivery form is tailored to dental use: 2-metre spool, diameters 0.25 / 0.35 / 0.50 mm.
