Qu4550 is a niobium-stabilized stainless steel laser welding wire for heat-resistant apparatus and plant construction. The material 1.4550 / 1.4551 (X6CrNiNb18-10 / AISI 347) combines the corrosion resistance of the CrNi austenites with reliable protection against intergranular corrosion through niobium stabilization — even in the sensitization range after welding, without solution annealing.
